Jamie Lynn dumped by doubting baby daddy

With her life looking more and more like an “ABC Afterschool Special,” Jamie Lynn Spears is now facing teenage pregnancy without boyfriend Casey Aldridge.

In Touch Weekly reports that Jamie Lynn’s alleged baby daddy wants nothing to do with her until she gets a paternity test. According to the magazine, big sis Britney recently told a Spears family friend, “Casey doesn’t want to be with her until he’s sure that he’s the father.”

Tabloid rumors aside, Casey apparently has reason to doubt his contribution to Jamie Lynn’s conundrum. “Let’s put it this way,” the friend said. “They’ve both strayed a bit from their relationship. They’re both teenagers, after all.”

Gwyneth Paltrow Admitted To Hospital

Gwyneth Paltrow has been admitted to a New York hospital, according to U.S. reports.

The actress was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital yesterday afternoon, although the nature of her condition is not known.

An eyewitness tells Usmagazine.com: "She was slumped over in a wheelchair pushed by [husband] Chris Martin. She looked not well."

The site reports that at 6.30pm a bag labeled "Gwyneth Martin" from organic home supply store Organics Avenue was delivered to the hospital, where the couple spent the night.

Kate Moss is planning to "party all week" to celebrate her birthday.

The supermodel - who turns 34 tomorrow (16.01.08) - will spend her big day with friends in London, kicking off a week of festivities which will end with a "sing-song" at her Oxfordshire farmhouse this weekend.

A source said: "On her birthday itself Kate is meeting friends at The Dorchester Hotel then going for a big night on the town at one of London's leading nightclubs.
"But there's no way she's going to finish there. The next day she's celebrating at her friend Davinia Taylor's house in St. John's Wood, where she's been staying for the past eight months.

"Then it's going to be on to her country pile in the Cotswolds. She's asked her boyfriend Jamie Hince and Alison Mosshart, the lead singer of his band The Kills to entertain guests."

TAMPA, FLORIDA - Miss Nevada, Katie Rees is issuing a correction on the statement released by her attorney yesterday regarding some photos that were published of her on the internet. That press release stated that she was 17 years old when the photos were taken. Miss Rees’ actual age when the aforementioned photos were taken was 19. Miss Rees acknowledges her misbehavior as captured in the photos. The pictures were taken years before her consideration to compete for the title of Miss Nevada.
Katie says, “Over the past couple of days I have seen and heard numerous reports and I feel it is necessary to address the public with the facts. Simply put, these images were from an isolated incident during my teenage years prior to my consideration to compete for Miss Nevada. While I take full responsibility for the photographs, I want everyone to know the truth. This was by no means representative of who I was, who I am, or who I will become.
I have no intentions to disgrace the state of Nevada, the Miss Universe Organization, or Mr. Donald Trump. Nonetheless, I feel I have been unfairly treated and I am being judged without due process.

I challenge those individuals to look back on their pasts and not find something they did to humiliate themselves or that they deeply regret—especially during their teenage years. I am very embarrassed by the situation. Regardless, such a brief and distant lapse in judgment does not warrant my loss of the title I worked so hard to achieve.
I want to thank my family, true friends, and God, who have already forgiven me. I can only hope that the public will be as kind.”

Reese Witherspoon is the most-liked celebrity among 10 female stars who regularly found their way onto magazine covers and into gossip columns in 2007, according to a new poll, Reuters reported.

For its E-Score Celebrity survey, E-Poll Market Research asked more than 1,100 people ages 13 and older whom they found the most appealing, confident, glamorous, interesting and over-exposed, among other qualities.

Witherspoon, 30, who won an Oscar for playing country singer June Carter in "Walk the Line," topped the list with a personal appeal rating of 74 percent, followed by former "Friends" star Jennifer Aniston at 70 percent, Reuters said.

Angelina Jolie, who is now the partner of Aniston's ex-husband Brad Pitt, was the No. 3 most appealing celebrity at 53 percent.

Actress/singer Jennifer Lopez was behind her with a 52 percent rating, while Katie Holmes followed at 32 percent and behind her was former Spice Girl Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham in the No. 6 position with a rating of 28 percent.

The "Pop Tarts" of 2007 — Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears — rounded out the list with Hilton the least-liked.

She had a low 9 percent appeal rating, and was deemed to be the most over-exposed. Only one notch above Hilton was pop singer Spears with 11 percent likeability and a 68 percent over-exposed rating to Hilton's 75 percent, Reuters reported.

According to People magazine, the singer left her white Mercedes on a road in Brentwood, California, after she got a flat tire.
Lt David Grimes of the Los Angeles Police Department, West LA, said: "Ms Spears's car was impounded.
"Officers on the scene told me it was blocking the roadway, and that it was unsafe enough to leave at the location."
"It was towed by a private company that's contracted with the city. Her car is being held at the official police garage tow yard."
Grimes also said: "There's not a hold on the vehicle. She just needs to show up to obtain it. She'll have to pay tow fees, and that total cost depends on how many days she leaves it there. But she won't get any citations or fines."
Spears reportedly accepted a lift from a paparazzo who was trailing her after she decided to abandon her car.
